Sales Tax:
As local breeders within the state of Illinois, we are required to pay a sales tax on the sale of every puppy of 7.25%. Because the transaction constitutes a retail purchase, all sellers must collect tax on all merchandise they sell, file reports of all sales and remit the required sales tax to the state. As responsible business owners within the state of Illinois, we do add a sales tax of 7.25% onto each purchase. Please note that sales tax is not optional and is always the responsibility of the purchaser.
